Aquel sweater sonaba a Beethoven…
otras veces a Debusy, cuando llovía...
...Gal Costa...Piazzolla…
por las noches, Pescado Rabioso. Recordarlo me hace sonreir.

Me preguntaste de qué color era?
blanco, en Bariloche, cuando nevaba y fuimos a comprar chocolate.
Obviamente, verde, en Iguazú, cuando el agua mojaba tu cara, y formaba lágrimas en tus mejillas. Por la alegría.
Pero de noche, sobre tu piel, siempre era rojo, siempre rojo.
Cuando nosotros cantábamos Om Namah Shivaya era anaranjado, eso lo recuerdo bien.
Me preguntaste por el sabor?
sabor a vino tinto, malbec, sabor a hierba verde de primavera. ¿Nunca mordiste una brizna de pasto, en primavera?...
Pero sonaba a Beethoven, estoy seguro.
Olía al musk de tu perfume.

Nosotros peleábamos por usarlo, ¿te acordás?...
sonaba a Beethoven...
por las noches, Pescado Rabioso…

Desapareció un verano, lo tapó la arena, en un médano...
pero Beethoven, sigue sonando, mientras nosotros miramos a través del vidrio cómo se acerca el otoño...
y por las noches, ese reflejo rojo, de Pescado Rabioso, que no nos deja dormir.

My 13 year old daughter is having her Third Mail Art exhibit to be held on Sept, 28 - 29, 2013.
Here are the details:
This Mail Art Exhibit to help raise awareness about homeless pets in animal rescue shelters and is being organized by Jessica Brann, a Grade 8 student. This will be Jessica's Third Mail Art Exhibit. "Pets Deserve A Home" will run in conjunction with the Fifth Annual Art Among Friends Exhibition. Jessica is looking for all types of mail art with a pet theme. Everyone is invited to submit a postcard-sized piece of pet themed artwork. If you don't want to create artwork, why not mail in a photo of your pet to display in the exhibit. A voluntary donation jar will be setup beside the exhibit and with all donations to go to our local animal rescue shelter.

There will be no jury, no fees and no return of artwork - All received artwork will be displayed and viewed by approximately 1,200 visitors during the Art Among Friends weekend. (September 28th - 29th, 2013). Deadline is September 28th, 2013. Please share some information about your pet on the back of your artwork/photo.

Presentación:
Me encuentro realizando una tesis de doctorado sobre el arte correo en el nuevo milenio. Como sabemos, se produjeron transformaciones culturales, sociales y económicas relevantes desde mediados del siglo XX,  las cuales se aceleraron en los últimos treinta años a partir de las nuevas tecnologías disponibles para la comunicación y la producción artística. El objetivo de esta convocatoria es conocer cómo los participantes visualizan estos cambios, desde su propia mirada y experiencia. Se publicará y exhibirá la información general obtenida y los trabajos recibidos de arte correo para que  los practicantes y personas  interesadas en la temática los conozcan. Tu participación es muy importante.

Fecha límite:31 de octubre 2013

Para participar de esta convocatoria debes enviar una postal por correo postal y un texto vía correo electrónico o mensaje privado de facebook.
A continuación se describen las características:

I make a doctoral thesis on the mail art in the new millennium.
As we know, relevant cultural, social and economic transformations occurred since the mid-20th century, which accelerated in the last thirty years from the new technologies available for communication and artistic production. The objective of this call is to know how participants viewed these changes, from its own vision and experience. It will be published and will exhibit the obtained general information and the works of mail art received so that the mail artist and persons interested by the subject-matter know them. Your participation is very important.
